In recent years, Jagex has dedicated significant resources into their bot detection methods while the botting scene has grown stale with the same old methods, whether it be reflection, injection, or color. He is typically good about rolling out any critical bug fixes for major client issues, but new features can sometimes take a bit. Off the bat, one of the major downsides to RiD compared to other clients is that RiD himself is the sole developer - so depending on what he is working on at a given moment, updates can be slow. This means your bots look more like you when they are running, and no two bots are the same. There are some shortcomings, sure, but with every update the functionality is increased and the platform is improved. RiD's latest project, Genesis, is currently in the public beta stage and I personally have used it to bot nearly 4,000 hours. Robotzindisguise (or RiD for short) is one of the only currently working public Rs3 bots that I am aware of.
